according to mother nature & the farmers almanac, the first day of summer is actually next monday.  so i guess technically this has been the best spring ever.

for the most part, this year has been nothing short of amazing.  theres been a few downfalls, but over all i havent had a spring like this. 

recently ive been inspired to write. a lot. ive taken "g-mom", "touched" & "the retail life" outta the closet, given them re-reads & even gone so far to give one a reboot & new treatment. ive even started to carry around a notebook with me like i once did, taking notes & writing down random ideas, rants, musings and the like to come back and elaborate on at a later date. i was hoping this bout of inspiration would carry over into my day to day life and allow me to write a little more about my days.  but i guess thats what twitter is for.

coming along for the inspiration ride has been books.  ive gotten in the habit of trying to spend a good amount of time catching up on some of these books ive bought over the years & the new ones ive picked up recently.
in the end, maybe do a book club [no oprah] & trade books off or something.  this bout im having with writing & reading is one i dont wanna lose anytime soon.  i used to write a short story a week & read 2-3 books a month, then one day i just stopped.  no more dusty ass books.

hopefully things will continue to move along.  theres a few more things that hopefully will be more of a reality then a pipe dream.
